An Important Message from Eric Burger, Executive Director
These are stressful, uncertain times.
But here at Shelter KC, we are seeing glimmers of hope every day!
The men and women being protected and sheltered here are thankful for meals, warm beds and care that will help them end homelessness. Their willingness to encourage and help each other is gratifying - especially with the absence of our wonderful volunteers and a reduced staff.
Poor individuals who have shelter are more grateful than ever to be able to continue to receive basic meals.
Even in the midst of chaos, God is doing amazing work here at Shelter KC. Reuniting families. Overcoming addictions. Brining souls to Christ. All because you have stepped up to help people you have never met!
Seeing everything that you are helping make possible through your prayers, partnership and support is truly remarkable.
I pray that you and your loved ones are safe and well, and that you will continue, as you are able, to provide the meals, shelter and care that bring hope into the lives of "the least of these."
Giving thanks for you.
