Shelter KC is not funded by the government. Instead, most of our income comes from individuals, families, church partners, and foundations with a passion for serving Kansas City’s homeless men and women. We are deeply grateful for the support of each person who chooses to contribute to our mission.

We prioritize managing every dollar with honesty and transparency. Shelter KC is proud to be recognized as a 4-star charity by Charity Navigator and is a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).
